The three winning projects of the “Florere” call for ideas were selected for their innovative approach to the reconfiguration of natural spaces and for the integration of cultural and sustainable activities. During the TV Spenta dal Vivo Festival in Rapolano Terme, the winners presented their ideas to the public, receiving feedback and new input to improve the reproducibility, strengths, and integration of their proposals. The results will be published in the next issue of SEMEstrale, which collects the outcomes of the Florère project.
The winning ideas
- I Found a Puppet in the Park: a workshop for creating eco-friendly puppets using recycled materials, to be integrated into the park as play tools and to foster community cohesion.
- Exploration Calendar for Curious Creatures: This project offers daily outdoor activities designed to stimulate creativity, slowness, and connection with nature, promoting well-being and intergenerational relationships.
- Among the Leaves, the People: a project to transform the Botanical Garden into a more accessible and inclusive space through multisensory installations and areas for socializing, creating a welcoming and participatory experience of nature.
The projects were selected as part of the initiative “Florere. Sowing Sustainable Practices”, funded by the MPS Foundation and carried out in collaboration with the Fondazione Musei Senesi, with the involvement of the ProPositivi Association, the Unione Astrofili Senesi, TV Spenta, the Gruppo Trekking Senese, the theater company Il Grappolo, and MPDF Onlus.
