Who doesn't remember the first time they thought: My town is too small for me. That maybe I belong somewhere else? Because what are the chances that, out of millions of places in the world, we could only find home where we were born?
But what is home, anyway? Is it our nest? Is it the people around us?Â
“What does it sound like? What does it look like? What is it made of?”
These are some of the questions Pulcina, the barn swallow, asks herself. She is predestined to go to Africa every year. But what if “there are other warm places as well?”
 These are roads we all go down. Sometimes, these roads are dark. What can be a lamp along the way are the serious - and sometimes ridiculous - dreams we choose to follow, leading us from one place to the next.
In Pulcina's case, that light comes from Latin American telenovelas. Because if a swallow grows up in a grandmother's kitchen, what else could she possibly watch all day?
