Mo Abd Ulla

Spring 2022

Mo Abd Ulla is a visual artist, curator and lecturer whose interdisciplinary practice spans installation, drawing, photography, video, text-based art, and performative “discursive arguments.” His work explores collective memory, monuments, and the social role of artistic intervention amid political and cultural change. Educated across leading European institutions including The Bartlett (UCL), Chelsea College of Arts (UAL), and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm, he combines architectural thinking with critical artistic research. Through exhibitions, workshops, and international residencies-such as the Cité internationale des arts in Paris-he develops projects that connect historical narratives with contemporary public discourse.
