González, born in Paraná, Argentina, studied at the Institute of Arts and Foreign Languages Josefina Contte in Corrientes, where he earned a Teaching Degree in Visual Arts. Working with the collective Arte-Ahora, he produced murals and monuments in more than twenty public spaces, and held his first solo exhibition in Corrientes in 1996. He later worked as an art director on short films in Córdoba and Buenos Aires before co-founding Apeyron, a center dedicated to research and experimentation in visual and performing arts. After moving to Buenos Aires in 1999, González collaborated with visual artist Mónica Girón and curator and critic Julio Sánchez at the National University of the South. Since 2003, he has lived and worked in Mexico, where he initiated Changarrito, a mobile gallery platform supporting local emerging artists and presented internationally.
