Magdalena Maślerz
Magdalena Maślerz is a Kraków-based goldsmith and contemporary jewelry artist specializing in distinctive bone jewelry and alternative organic materials. Using traditional goldsmithing and stonesetting techniques, she creates refined wearable art from ethically sourced animal bones, often combined with silver, exploring themes of nature, mortality, and beauty beyond conventional luxury materials. She holds an MFA from the Pedagogical University of Kraków and is a certified Master Goldsmith. Maślerz is the founder of Szkoła Złotnictwa Xerion, Kraków’s first jewelry-making school. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Silver Festival Legnica and BIC-MAJA in Beijing, and is featured in Narrative Jewelry: Tales from the Toolbox by Mark Fenn.
