Luise Noora Sejersen is a Copenhagen-based contemporary artist working across painting, video, and installation. Her practice explores collective consciousness, spirituality, and historical imagery in relation to life in contemporary Northern Europe. Drawing on the traditions of icon painting, she creates layered egg tempera works on wood that blend art historical references with personal symbolism, treating the pictorial space as a site of transformation. Sejersen holds an MFA from the Funen Art Academy in Denmark and previously studied at Valand Academy of Fine Arts in Sweden. She is a recipient of a Danish Arts Foundation working grant and a residency award from the Siena Art Institute.
