Lisa Corinne Davis is a Brooklyn-based artist whose multidisciplinary practice-spanning collage, drawing, and painting-explores individual identity within contemporary society. She has exhibited widely across the United States and her work is held in major collections including the Museum of Modern Art, the J. Paul Getty Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. A recipient of numerous awards such as a National Endowment for the Arts Visual Artist Fellowship, Davis has also written essays for The Brooklyn Rail. She currently teaches as a Professor at Hunter College in New York.
