Joan Larkin is a poet whose books include Blue Hanuman and My Body: New and Selected Poems, winner of the Audre Lorde Award. A Lambda Literary Award recipient, she has also co-translated Sor Juana’s Love Poems and written works for the stage. She has taught widely, including at Sarah Lawrence College and Smith College, and has received honors from the Academy of American Poets and the National Endowment for the Arts.
