Architetto e paesaggista italiana, fondatrice dell'Atelier di paesaggio Arscape, Annunziata De Comite, parla del paesaggio contemporaneo e della possibilità di creare nuove opportunità e determinare nuovi equilibri sociali, forme di produzione, cultura e identità. Utilizza una serie di metodi di lavoro applicati al paesaggio che utilizzano sempre il concetto di soggettività per l'individuazione dei caratteri del paesaggio quotidiano.

Invisible landscapes, investigating collective space:

Italian architect and landscape designer, founder of the Arscape studio, Annunziata De Comite, will speak about the contemporary landscape and the possibility to create new opportunities and to determine new social equilibriums, forms of production, culture, and identity. Her work utilizes a series of methods to study the landscape, always using the concept of subjectivity to individuate the characteristics of the everyday landscape.

Free and open to the public.  Presentation in Italian with synopsis in English.

La ricerca di Irene Lupi è contraddistinta da un profondo interesse per le forme di narrazione e le dinamiche identitarie, intese sia come proiezione autorappresentativa dell’artista sia come riflessione sulla permanenza della memoria, condotta attraverso l’osservazione di luoghi e delle pratiche socio-culturali che li definiscono.

The research of Irene Lupi is marked by a deep interest in the forms of narrative and identity dynamics, designed both as a self-representative projection of the artist and as a reflection on the permanence of memory, conducted through observation of places and socio-cultural practices that define them.

Enrico Riley: Paintings and DrawingsAmerican artist Enrico Riley tracing his development as an artist, from past to present work.Currently in residence at the American Academy in Rome, he is researching the potential for creative overlap between Judeo-Christian narratives and lived experiences of black bodies today.

“Incorporare oggetti indossabili in tempi instabili”: Danielle Wilde, Professoressa Associata di Embodied Design alla University of Southern Denmark, presenterà al pubblico la sua ricerca su modalità di produzione di oggetti di wearable design che tengano conto dell’esperienza fisica dei singoli individui nel processo di ideazione.

In collaborazione con Santa Chiara Fab Lab dell’Università di Siena e con Mason Perkins Deafness Fund.

“Embodying wearables in unstable times”:  Danielle Wilde, Research associate professor of Embodied Design at The University of Southern Denmark, Kolding, her research foregrounds diversity of embodied experience throughout the design process, investigating Wearable and Material Futures, Disruptive Ideation, and Design Ecologies.
